He was born poor. His father left him when he was 18 months old. His mother was abusive, mean, and unfair. They moved often, they never had money. He fell in love at an early age, and the relationship scarred him. His ex-wife had a child at a young age and in the beginning he could barely support her. His uncle/best friend died. His best friend & the man who helped him become who he was, died. He was bullied and beaten during his childhood, once it was so bad he went into a coma and almost died. He was a white boy who grew up in a black neighborhood and dealt with racism his entire life. Nobody believed in him, or had faith. He failed the 9th grade 3 times and then dropped out. He never had many friends, he was always the new kid everybody bullied. Yet when he was 14, his Uncle Ronnie introduced him to Hip-Hop, and he loved it so much he began to write & rap himself. Despite everyone telling him to quit, he never gave up. Eventually, Dr. Dre came in, discovered him, changed & saved his life forever. Despite growing up with no money, love, respect, care, friends, or faith, he still became one of the most popular rappers there ever was. Everyone knows his name, everyone knows his music. He has millions and millions of fans all over the world. He is a rapper, a writer, a producer, and an actor. He starred in a movie based on his life called 8 mile and it is incredibly popular. He is currently in the process of starring in another movie. He has 7 main studio albums, but has others as well. He was part of a rap group and is also a solo artist. He has had the longest running No.1 hip-hop single, and has won many awards. He has the most popular page on Facebook, has over a billion views on YouTube, and has been an active rapper for about 20 years and is still insanely popular. He has gone through serious drug problems, almost died from an overdose, left the rap game for years, and still manages to support and love his daughters and younger half-brother and be one of the most popular rappers ever.
Eminem is considered one of the best rappers of all time by millions. Despite his extremely depressing & shocking history, he is extremely successful and raises a beautiful family. His fans respect him because emotionally, he is one of the strongest people on this Earth. He deserves everything he has after all he has gone through. He hasn’t even graduated high school, yet he is a millionaire and has a great vocabulary and definitely isn’t stupid.
We love you, Marshall.
